The Alaska News Coalition lost one of its founding members with the passing of Elizabeth Arnold on June 18. Arnold, a noted journalist and university professor, reported on the White House, the state house in Alaska and the lives of people in their homes around the state who were affected by politics and climate change. She inspired her students and those around her with her grit and critical curiosity. The family suggests, for those interested, that donations can be made to the Alaska News Coalition.
