The Frontiersman is unique as a growing newspaper with an onsite printing press. This allows us to print not only our newspaper but also those of 12 other Alaskan newspapers. This makes The Frontiersman both a media outlet and a crucial job creator in the Mat-Su Valley, supporting media jobs across Alaska.

As CEO, O’Connor’s focus will be on driving revenue and innovation while advancing the company’s community mission. As Wick Communications approaches its 100th anniversary, it continues to operate community news publications, digital advertising agencies, and local events in 10 states. O’Connor expressed that it’s an exciting time in community news media. We are experiencing a transformative period, growing and delivering award-winning journalism in innovative ways.
